A century ago, one of the Gods turned evil and locked the other Gods away one by one. The gijinka rose up in war against the evil God and cast it into an abyss. But in its final moments, it dragged a half of the Army with it. The Army did not quite end up in the abyss though. Instead a sort of dimensional rift was created. It is called Alola or the Lost World. It is very rare for gijinka from Alola to return from there. And they aren’t the same because of this other world. They tend to stand out and can be ostracized as a result.
